Transit Visa

A Transit Visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for any of the following purposes:

1. Category TS (Transit): to travel in transit through Thailand in order to proceed to the country of destination or to re-enter the applicant's own country

2. Category S (Sports): To participate in sports activities

3. Category C (Conveyance): To the person in charge or crew of a conveyance coming to a port, station or area in Thailand

Documents Required:
The applicants must submit the following relevant documents, depending on the purpose of their visit:

• Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months and 5 days from the time of application.
• One set of passport photocopy page 1-5(information page for Machine Readable Passport) & renewal page, correction page & last Thai visa page if any.
• Visa application form completely filled in with original sign as per passport
• 2 recent passport sized photographs (not exceeding 6 months) of the applicant.(frontal view without dark glasses & head gear except for religious purpose.
• Visa request letter from applicant & from the office if employed or letter from the educational institute or student ID card if student.
• Updated bank statement for the last 6 months in original (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family) with solvency certificate from concerned bank. Incase of using company bank statement, trade license(original notarized English translated and photocopy of the original) have to be attached.
• Photocopy of air ticket/printout of the booking.
• Parents’ consent letter for under 18 applicant.
• Visa of third country in a passport or proof of destination visa on arrival (for category TS)
• Invitation letter stating the applicant’s participation in sports activities in Thailand (for category S)
• Seaman book and letter from office in Bangladesh and Thailand for person in charge or crew of a conveyance coming to a port, station or area in Thailand(for category C).
• Govt. officials would be require to furnish NOC.
• Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.

Visa Fee: Taka 2000 per entry per person
VFS Service Fee: Taka 400 VFS per person
Bank Charge: Taka 40 per person

Submission Hours:
For Normal Applicant: 09.00a.m. to 12.00p.m. & 02:00p.m. To 3.00p.m
For Travel Agent: 09.00a.m. to 10.30a.m
Group Tour: Request to take one day prior appointment over phone for submission of application more than 10 person
