  • Announcement on Visa fees

    The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to announce that All visa fees in Thai baht applied worldwide remain unchanged as set forth by the Thailand’s Ministry of Interior and effective since 23rd March 2006.

    Due to recent appreciation of the Thai baht as compared to Bangladeshi Taka since the last adjustment on 16th June 2007, the visa fees will be slightly adjusted in respect to the current exchange rate and effective from 1st April 2011 onwards, as following:

    Transit visa per entry 2,000 Taka
    Tourist visa per entry 2,500 Taka
    Non-immigrant, single entry 5,000 Taka
    Non-immigrant, multiple entries (valid up to 1 year) 12,500 Taka
    Non-immigrant, multiple entries (valid up to 3 years):  25,000  Taka

    Visa fees are non-refundable.

    These visa fees are subject to changes without prior notice in respond to subsequent amending Baht /Taka exchange rate.

  • Important Notice for applicants who have travelled from or through countries declared Yellow Fever Infected Areas.

    The Ministry of Public Health has laid down regulations that applicants who have travelled from or through countries that have been declared Yellow Fever Infected Areas, must provide an International Health Certificate stating that they have received a Yellow Fever vaccination.

    The International Health Certificate must be submitted together with the Visa Application Form. The applicant will also have to present the said certificate to the Immigration Officer upon arrival at the port of entry in Thailand. For nationals of the countries listed below who have not travelled from / through any of these countries, such a certificate is not required. However, they should possess concrete evidence showing that their domicile is not in an infected area so as to prevent undue inconvenience.

    The following countries have been declared Yellow Fever Infected Areas:


    1. Angola :  People’s Republic of Angola
    2. Benin :  People’s Republic of Benin
    3. Bolivia :  Republic of Bolivia
    4. Brazil : Federative Republic of Brazil
    5. Burkina Faso :  Republic of Burkina Faso
    6. Burundi : Republic of Burundi
    7. Cameroon : Federal Republic of Cameroon
    8. Central African Republic

     

    9. Chad : Republic of Chad
    10. Colombia : Republic of Colombia
    11. Congo : Republic of the Congo
    12. Cote d’ Ivore : Republic of Cote d’ Ivoire
    13. Ecuador : Republic of Ecuador
    14. Equatorial Guinea : Republic of Equatorial Guinea
